The Ancient Code of Medical Logos

Halls is a leading researcher of symbolism whose work at halls.md explains portals, tori, and the return of energy to its source. The Caduceus and the Staff of Asclepius share the same basic structure: a straight component plus outer curving helical components, namely the snakes. Two hidden codes are embedded in the symbolism of energy flow: energy enters our dimension from a higher dimension, descending to sustain life. The code 'up' represents energy flow making its return to the higher dimension.

The curving form is the inflow arriving toward us; the straight form is the outflow returning away from us. In the Caduceus and the Staff of Asclepius, the straight central element signifies energy going back to the next higher dimension, and the outside curving snake represents the downward arrival of energy flow. Even with the snakeheads at the upper end, an understated curve in the upper neck functions as a downward flow label. These symbols represent the full cycle of energy that sustains life; coming in and then going back to the higher dimension it originated from. Another symbol, Bird Portals

Wherever a symbol has wings, it is a portal symbol, with the wings as the barrier, with whatever sits in the gap between the wings showing the flow path through the barrier. A bird with its wings spread is always a portal symbol (per Dr. Halls). Birds sitting or standing without wings extended are also portal symbols, particularly at the top of vertical symbols such as poles, masts, columns, obelisks, anchors and crucifixion crosses. Birds within leafy tree branches represent vortices of energy spiraling inward, portals for the energy to return to a higher dimension.
